Restored French Provincial Style Oak Sideboard with Quartz Top | Circa 1920s
A beautifully restored oak sideboard in the French Provincial style, believed to date from circa 1920s. Decorative mouldings, beaded door panels, a shaped apron and turned feet give this piece its traditional charm, complemented by a soft, natural wood finish and a newly fitted quartz top.
Width - 149cm
Height - 78.5cm
Depth - 46.5cm
Carefully restored by hand at homewithally, the wood has been soda blasted to remove the old finish, sanded and given a light whitewash to soften the colour and highlight its beautiful grain. Two coats of water-based polyurethane provide protection while preserving the understated appearance of the wood.
The original top has been replaced with a beautiful quartz surface, and new handles have been fitted to complement the refreshed finish. The interior has also been thoroughly cleaned and oiled.
With two spacious drawers and cupboard storage, this sideboard offers practical storage for a dining room, living room or hallway.
